Images are extracted in their full original form, not the cropped version visible on the slide. PowerPoint stores the complete image and applies cropping as a display property. This means you get the full high-resolution image, which is usually what you want for reuse.

Images are named systematically with references to their slide location (e.g., slide1_image1.png). All images are packaged in a ZIP archive for convenient download. This naming convention makes it easy to match extracted images back to their original slides.

The tool supports PowerPoint files up to 50MB (up to 100MB with ChatSlide Lite), which covers the vast majority of presentations. Image-heavy presentations with hundreds of embedded photos are fully supported. Processing time scales with file size but typically completes within a minute.
